Career Snapshot

I have spent 20 years working in and leading elite Navy EOD teams through complex, High-stakes missions across the globe. In that time I deployed six times, four of those times were in support of Special Operations Teams (Navy SEALs and Army Special Forces). I have led teams ranging from 4-140 personnel and have been fortunate enough to work with some of the best talent our country has to offer. Now I am pivoting into the private-sector completing my MBA from the Michigan Ross School of Business in May of 2026. Below are highlights from that time

Overall Professional Profile

  • 20 years of experience as a U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician, safeguarding personnel and property from explosive threats. This role, functioning as the Navy’s bomb squad, involves intricate tasks in high-risk environments, supporting conventional and special operations organizations across the military and law enforcement.

She was the lead EOD technician for her SEAL teammates during distributed operations in Somalia. While I had to fight for her ability to be there, she proved herself worthy, quickly gaining the trust of the team and she became a key leader during that successful deployment. This experience highlights my adaptive leadership and commitment to diversity.
  • I excelled in the Navy EOD program with an 85% attrition rate, a testament to your physical and academic endurance over 15 months. I was one of only 2,200 EOD Techs in the Navy, comprising less than 1% of Navy personnel.

Strategic Leadership & Management

  • As command N43/N8 (Logistics and Future Planning) Department Head, you tracked the weekly status of 252 pieces of Table of Allowance (TOA) Equipment worth $47.3 million, coordinating equipment replacement and maintaining 100% readiness.
  • As Mobility Company LCPO (Senior Operations Manager), you mentored five EOD mobility Platoons comprising 40 personnel, with 11 direct mentees, through their Operational Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) cycle.
  • Directed end-to-end training pipeline for a PACOM Special Operations platoon, designing and executing integrated scenarios for 80+ U.S. and international forces, directly contributing to operational certification and regional mission readiness.
  • Managed the movement of personnel and $2.6 million in mission-critical equipment across 3 deployments, covering 35 domestic and international locations with zero discrepancies, ensuring 100% operational availability through detailed inventory control, logistics coordination, and maintenance compliance tracking.

Training & Development

  • As Director of Training | Training and Readiness LCPO, you led training and certification efforts for 10 deployable multi-functional teams and 3 shore-based detachments, ensuring the readiness of all 104 personnel to execute mission-critical tasks and reducing deployment preparation time by 10%.
  • Successfully mentored and guided 53 personnel, leading to a 15% increase in High-Risk Supervisor Qualifications.
  • Served as a high-risk training instructor and curriculum developer for Navy EOD, delivering over 8,000 student contact hours across 100+ classes and field evolutions.

  • Developed and supervised over 100 high-risk training scenarios across multinational exercises, enabling deployment readiness for 500+ personnel from 12 commands across 3 countries over a 6 day period.
  • Trained and prepared two members for successful selection to a Joint Special Operations Command special mission unit, one of the most elite units in the U.S. military.
  • Contributed to international SOF capability growth by training Royal Malaysian Police, Cambodian Army, and U.S. Special Forces on advanced EOD Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTP’s).

Operational Excellence & Problem Solving

  • Supervised the transfer of 14,000 pounds of captured Iranian Munitions between two Combatant Commands, collaborating with interagency assets to verify explosive safety and providing evidence for legal attribution through United Nations Inspectors to counter malign regional activities.
  • Digitized mission-critical logistics using two SharePoint-based dashboards for real-time equipment and ordnance expenditure tracking, increasing command accountability and executive oversight.
  • Consolidated AA&E (Arms, Ammunition & Explosives) administrative work centers and increased demolition throughput by 600%, enabling 44 EOD teams to maintain mission readiness.
  • Transitioned command records from analog to Advanced Skills Management (ASM) for inspection readiness, achieving top marks during the Explosive Safety Inspection.
  • Coordinated and led 56 hours of joint training with the U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, and the San Diego County Sheriff’s department, enhancing cooperation and strengthening partnerships.
  • Prepared, trained, and led three teams through rigorous training cycles and deployments achieving an impressive 89% retention rate with 27 personnel through three, six-month deployments.
  • Led 63 operations and managed five Special Access Programs, with the resulting intelligence enabling 12 remote advise and assist missions, capturing 42 enemy fighters and a key IED-related high-value target, causing substantial IED network disruption.
  • Hand-selected to plan, manage, and lead Navy EOD’s contribution in the largest international maritime military exercise in the Middle East, executing independently with little command support.
  • As Director of Training Support, I managed upkeep of organization’s facilities and $5.1 million in organizational assets, ensuring continuous force generation training in 10 locations throughout California, Hawaii, and Guam.
  • Successfully reduced contract obligations by 10% in fiscal year 2024 and recouped $250,000 in unrealized obligations by supervising performance work statement table-top discussions.
  • Oversaw 40+ contractors during a $5.6 million building renovation, ensuring adherence to project schedules and delivering work within scope.

  • Received multiple Flag Letters of Commendation for outstanding performance in EOD operations, including locating aerial target areas in harsh terrain with unexploded ordnance, inspecting and rendering safe live ordnance during exercises, and supporting carrier air wing strike training while advocating for junior team members.
  • Earned three Navy Commendation Medals, three Navy Achievement Medals, a Joint Achievement Medal, two Army Achievement Medals for meritorious service and instrumental contributions to mission success.
